Summary
This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, unit testing and support of media playback, distribution and infrastructure applications across multiple development environments and technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

?Design and develop applications for next generation media technologies
?Design and develop content delivery applications
?Design and develop playback management applications
?Design and develop automation and workflow optimization infrastructure applications to support next generation media technology
?Collaborate with a team of committed professionals in product development & support
?Practice iterative development
Proficient Software Languages
?C/C++ or Java
Proficient with the following operating systems
?Linux
Required Skills and Abilities
?5+ years experience
?BS in Computer Science, or closely related degree
?Expert level Linux customization knowledge (configure, installation, boot disc)
?3+ years C++ or Java application development
?Solid design experience using OOP or similar
?Programming experience with multi-threading processing
?Familiar with open source technologies
?Enjoys small team development collaboration
?Enjoys fast-paced & multi-project environments
?Demonstrated initiative & commitment
?Desire and aptitude to learn new technologies
?Enjoys & contributes to a positive and fun environment
Bonus Skills
?Experience with Android development
?Experience with Web Services, SOAP, HTTP
?Experience with relational databases
