Design, code, and test web applications using primarily PHP
Help implement web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Work closely with the entire team on our product roadmap and design specifications
Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
Pro-actively look for ways to make the company better
Translate business requirements into technical design
Execute state of the art technology solutions to meet the business needs
What we are looking for
Must have
B.S. (or higher) in Computer Science
Excellent PHP programming skills
Experience with jquery
Strong knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache)
A passion for building and improving web services.
Great communication and documentation abilities
Nice to have
Familiarity with Linux
Familiarity with a source control system (SVN preferred)
Experience with web interface design
Experience working with Lucene/Apache Solr
Having worked with common web APIs to develop web applications
Familiarity with web APIs (FB, Amazon, etc?)
