The Role:
We're looking for a great back-end engineer who wants to make key technical and architectural decisions. If you're looking for a chance to work with a product that will not only be cutting edge but will also help small businesses in a meaningful way - keep reading.
--You'll be creating a Rails based application with an incredibly responsive UI built on top of Knockout.js, Rails, the Ruote workflow engine and a Mongo database.
--You will help us solve a variety of data integration and analytics challenges. Rapidly and accurately decisioning a loan approval is key!
--You'll help us bring smart design to financial services, and it all starts with a solid foundation of a well architected system. You'll get to own your slice of the stack.
Our Ideal Candidate:
--Has a strong back-end development background and good Java, Python, PHP or Ruby experience.
--Has 3+ years of professional programming experience.
--Has worked with Mongo DB and Mongoid
--Has built or maintained a consumer facing site.
Bonus Points For:
--Ruby or Rails experience
--Ruote experience
--RESTful JSON API experience
--Front-end familiarity and Javascript experience
--Data analytics and map reduce.
