Quantcast Coproration seeks full-time Software Engineer for its San Francisco office. This position is a member of the Advertising Platform team which is responsible for building the software automation architecture that drives the advertising system at Quantcast. Design, build and test automated services for running complex, targeted advertising campaigns; build brand new services-based platforms for all advertiser-side applications; design, build and maintain the internal toolset that will be used to operate the platform. Applicants must be versatile and able to choose the correct tool for each task, love big challenges and be excited by the prospect of re-engineering the company's core advertising systems into a scalable service-based platform that can be scaled to keep pace with the growing business.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with at least 2 years professional software development experience that includes OOP language (preferably Java, but C++ or C# OK), scriptable language (preferably Python, but Bash or Ruby OK), functional programming experience (e.g. Haskell, Scheme, Scala, Clojure), experience with distributed architectures and queueing architectures (e.g. RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, StormMQ, etc.)
