Software Engineer YieldBuild
We are looking for a Senior Software Optimization Engineer to focus on the core YieldBuild algorithm. As a member of the Software Engineering team, this person will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and customers to build a world class yield optimization solution for web site publishers.Responsibilities:
Collaborate on design and implementation of sophisticated machine-learning optimization engine
Analyze and interpret results into requirements for the core optimization algorithm
Write high quality, performant code
Design pragmatically for a very high-scale application
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Operations Research, Mathematics, Optimization or related quantitative field
Extensive knowledge of optimization theory
Strong coding skills with a get it done attitude
Excellent object-oriented design skills
Strong database design skills, MySQL, DB2 or Oracle preferred
Good communications skills to work well as part of a small, 100 San Francisco-based team.
