Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class software development organization and is looking for top notch Senior Software Engineers in Mobile software development. As a Palo Alto Networks Mobile Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing our back-end mobile server platform that will deliver our innovative security features to secure smart phones, tablets, and other employee devices.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design and implement Server-side development of our mobile platform
- Actively participate and provide leadership to team members to develop Mobile server architecture.
- Client/Server and distributed system development experience
- Design, develop and maintain control plane infrastructure and features
- Work with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve best quality
Requirements:
- 5+ years of object-oriented server-side software development experience
- Strong proven experience developing an MDM product from scratch
- Excellent C and JAVA programming skills (Advanced Levels).
- Development in Linux platform
- System software development experience
- Mobile SDK experience with Android
- Network appliance development experience is a plus
- Experience with JNI environment is a plus
- Experience with XML is a plus
Education/Qualification:
- MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
