What You Will Be Doing:As a Software Engineer, you will be working on our Facility-based systems. These include the Member Website, the Facility Training Partner, the Management Station used by instructors to set up members, and services to support back end processes.
What You Need:
At least 2-4 years SW Engineering experience including a full understanding of working in a formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.
Proven experience in all aspects of systems and product development.
Ability to work from a Product Requirements Specification.
Competence in creating and developing Functional Specifications.
Ability to estimate project tasks.
Develop code, Debug and troubleshoot, and propose solutions.
A willingness to understand the full system in order to have an appreciation for how your work impacts a project.
Proficiency in some areas below and an aptitude and willingness to learn new languages:
WEB (XML, ASP.NET, PHP, HTML, C#)
Database (SQL,SQL Server)
Programming & Scripting Languages (Python, PERL, VB, Visual C#)
Networking (Basic knowledge of Networks, IP network programming, familiarity with Routers)
Experience with building GUIs
Good communication skills
Knowledge of Testing techniques
Ability to work independently and in a group setting
We will require a software code walk through.
