Software Engineer Lumeta
Lumeta is seeking a software engineer intimately familiar with the complete software lifecycle to become part of our team creating and maintaining Lumeta?s suite of network discovery and analysis tools. This individual will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining the information visualization UI of Lumeta?s new product. This individual will be involved with development in all areas of software development within Lumeta; including front end user interfaces, middleware, databases, and core infrastructure.The following qualifications are required for this position:
At least 5 years of experience in full lifecycle software development. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in producing and releasing complex projects
Comfortable in a Unix environment
Significant experience developing modern web apps using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Ajax application design, REST Services,Spring Framework 2.5/3.0
Familiarity with emerging HTML 5 and CSS 3.0 standards
BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and/or relevant industry experience
Other important skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Javascript frameworks such as DOJO and JQuery is a plus
Experience with developing Java middleware and interactions with SQL databases is desirable
Knowledge of routers, firewalls, and network management is desirable
An understanding of TCP/IP and SNMP network protocols is a plus
