JOB DUTIES: Participate as a member of a team developing a wireless data acquisition system. Responsible for developing software for embedded systems as well as application software for use by our customers. Software will be written in C++ and C#. Duties will include: Developing biomedical instrumentation software for products running on a Windows platform using the latest tools and practices to attain industry-leading quality. Development areas will include: user interfaces, real-time processing for data acquisition, signal processing, data analysis and storage; Developing test scripts and software to support device testing and internal needs; Developing and maintaining design and testing documentation in support of software development life cycle; conducting verification activities and documenting findings; Investigating defects in existing software; and identifying problems and making corrective changes, where warranted.REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master?s Degree or related in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and 3 years post-bachelor?s progressive experience in software engineering or related field. Experience must include Software development tools and operating systems; Software development in C/C++/C#/Java using Visual Studio/Eclipse; Version control systems; Network communication protocols; Defect tracking systems; and agile Software Development methodologies; and Developing real-time data acquisition and signal processing system software (may be gained through coursework and/or employment).
