Software Engineer - Sustaining/Escalation SeaMicro
SeaMicro is seeking a talented software engineer to handle sustaining work for the existing SW releases (running on our data center appliance) and also provide Escalation support (to Services organization) from the engineering side.Required Qualifications:
Strong background & subject matter expert in at least one of the following areas. System/CLI/storage/networking SW.
5+years of embedded development with at least 2 years of sustaining work.
Solid experience working on a large codebase and making substantial changes & kernel modifications
Experience developing tools & scripts that are used in customer problem analysis.
Able to debug, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the field.
Previous start-up experience is a plus
Solid interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment
Able to work independently on multiple tasks
Self-driven & motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving.
A BS degree in CS/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering is required; MS degree preferred
