Our technology offers a complete solution to our customers, so we look for team members who can span disciplines, collaborate across functional boundaries, and keep pace in this explosive market.As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a small, interdisciplinary team of engineers who are smart, driven, and enjoy getting stuff done. We build our systems around a wide spectrum of software, from embedded firmware (in assembly and C) to web interfaces (in Ruby on Rails). You should have a bias toward building reliable embedded systems, but a generalist's background - we value teammates who are not one-trick ponies.
Our ideal candidate is:
Smart, team-oriented, and gets stuff done.
Passionate about coding, learning, and solving problems.
Deeply experienced with developing complex embedded systems on top of Linux (user-mode, not kernel or device hacking).
Knowledgeable about databases, real-time networking, and web services.
Familiar with a broad range of technology stacks.
Formally qualified with a BS or greater in EE or CS and 5+ years of development experience.
