Responsibilities:
-- Architect, specify and implement the Calxeda automated testing environment
-- Develop C/C++, Python, and related testing suites in a Linux environment
-- Integrate third party test suites into the Calxeda environment
-- Monitor and evaluate development activities in Linux community and key technology partners
-- Assist in bring-up and test activities required for platform test and integration
-- Clearly document all design work and ensure that customer documentation is complete and accurate
-- Provide guidance to software engineering team for opportunities related to validation and optimization
Education/Qualifications:
-- Undergraduate degree in Comp Science or Electrical Engineering required, graduate degree preferred , plus 5+ years of hands-on experience with design and development of software test suites and infrastructure
-- 3+ years of Linux experience with strong knowledge of Linux internals and Server Systems
-- Detailed knowledge of Linux and Systems level standards, interfaces and implementations
-- Advanced knowledge of and experience with ARM core architecture
-- Excellent C/C++/Java skills
-- Detailed knowledge of hardware systems design, hardware interfaces and ability to collaborate with hardware and software engineering team
-- Self-motivated and driven to continuously improve personal and professional skills combined with openness to constructive feedback
-- Strong communication and documentation skills
