THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED TokBox is looking for smart, talented and passionate engineer to develop testing and debugging tools to validate infrastructure for our next-generation streaming Cloud API. Our aim is to build a smart test infrastructure that tests real-time use-cases on the web and to continuously improve quality. We are building a world-class engineering team that will revolutionize how people communicate on the Web. OpenTok is a highly scalable platform with public APIs, which enables developers all over the world to integrate video communications in to their Web application.
Play a key role in developing test and debugging tool infrastructure.
Work with development and test engineering teams to automate tests for new product features and bug fixes.
Exhibit strong ownership to maintain our existing test infrastructure.
Work with required stakeholders to plan and execute test initiatives for effective product releases.
Adopt and evangelize open source tools to increase test coverage and productivity
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science and/or related work experience
Strong coding skills in Java Script, Java and/or Objective-C
Build, deploy and maintain test environments working with engineering and infrastructure teams
R&D testing solutions to support emerging web/video technologies, browsers and mobile devices
Work on fast paced environment and adopt to agile development processes and practices
Nice to have:
Masters or post graduate specialization in Computer Science
Background in C/C++ and/or scripting languages like Python/Perl/Shell
Experience and interest building tools to monitor performance of complex cloud based API offering
Experience and interest building mobile applications for ios/android systems
Experience using tools to measure QoE/QoS in different network conditions
Familiarity with video protocols like WebRTC, SIP, RTP, SDP and Audio/Video codecs
