Skills in Demand
The Front-End Java UI Developer will be working on design and development of additions and enhancements to Zenprise MDM software. The individual must be a good team player, but also have the initiative to work independently. as well as support existing applications. The person in this position will primarily be concerned with web front-end development and creating slick UIs while, at the same time, not being afraid to dig into some Java code when needed.
Responsibilities
? Develop dynamic data driven screens / visualizations using JQuery, Javascript, CSS and HTML5
? Design, documentation, and development of next generation product platforms
? Design and build advanced data visualization front-ends using the latest in UI visualization libraries
? implement flexible and templated UI's
? Work with back-end development team integrating UI visualizations
? Play an active development role in cross functional teams
Requirements
? 3+ years experience in UI development
? Browser compliance and standards-based frontend development skills are a must
? Experience in Rapid UI Development
? Knowledge of accelerated rendering platforms and animation
? Must have working knowledge of the following:
? JQuery
? Javascript
? HTML 5
? CSS
? Understand UI Performance strategies
? Experience with source version control (Subversion/CVS), unit testing and builds
? Understanding of J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP) and web frameworks (WebObjects (preferred), struts, or click)
? Excellent communication skills a must
