Summary

You will be a member of an execution focused scrum team responsible for the development and evolution of several software products within PlayNetwork that are core to our business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following is a list of general job responsibilities for the Software Engineer. This list is not all-inclusive and may be broadened or changed to meet changing business needs.
?Evangelizes PlayNetwork technology products and PlayNetwork brand value
?Works closely with the product owner, other developers, quality assurance, design and other cool folks within PlayNetwork to design and build a technology platform that enables us to grow our business globally
?Writes code? lots of it
?Actively participates in code-reviews for code written personally as well as code written by others
?Creates accurate, consistent and reproduce-able documentation
?Works closely with product management to understand sprint backlog items
?Partners with technical operations to understand and contribute to continuous improvement for physical deployment and product release procedures
?Key contributor to continuous process improvement across all of PlayNetwork engineering groups
Proficient with the following operating systems

?BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent related job experience
?1+ years working in an Agile environment
?3+ years working in software development

?Solid understanding of Java and development using Spring and Guice
?Experience working on the Android platform
