We are looking for an accomplished JavaScript developer, a team player who is poised for leadership and demonstrates both technical chops and business acumen.
You will be working on a small team that owns the playback experience of all Brightcove players. To give you an idea of the scale what you'll be working on, note that in the time it takes you to read this sentence, the Brightcove player has been loaded over 9,000 times worldwide. That's over one billion video player requests per week!

Key Qualifications:
- MS/BS in Computer Science or related background preferred, experience with the full development process a must
- 1-3 years of development experience
- In-depth mastery of JavaScript
- iOS/Objective-C or Android/Java experience a plus
- History of disciplined test-driven development
- Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, Analysis, and Programming.
- Experience building scalable Web applications and consumer online services.
- Desire to learn cutting edge technologies

This position is based in our new space at the Atlantic Wharf building located directly on the waterfront at 290 Congress St, one block from Boston's South Station.
