Software Engineer - Web Developer - Wireless Network Management Bluesocket

As a member of the Bluesocket team, you will be responsible for creating the next innovation on the Bluesocket management solution, specific to Web Development. You will be using cutting edge technology like Virtualization to aid in development and deployment of solutions. You should be interested in working on a small, focused team that is encouraged to build world-class solutions.


Required Skills:
BS (MS a plus) in computer science with prior work experience.
Expertise in at least one of these programming languages: Ruby, Java (JDK6), Python
Experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
Initiative and the ability to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of HTML/XHTML/CSS
JavaScript (for multiple browser types)
AJAX/JSON frameworks (DWR/Prototype/jQuery)
Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, Postgres)
Experience with Debugging Tools (Firebug, Web Developer Toolbar)
Proven ability to create high quality, scalable and extensible software.

Preferred Skills:
MVC frameworks (Rails, Spring, Wicket, Vaadin, JSF, Django)
SaaS / Multi-tenant architecture experience.
Experience with Visualization Tools (such as Google Maps)
HTML5
Management and API Protocols (SNMP, XML-RPC, SOAP, REST)
Experience with open source Network Management Systems (Nagios, Big Brother, Zabbix)
Experience with Authentication Servers (LDAP, Radius)
Experience with Networking and Wireless
Experience with next generation databases (CouchDB, Google BigTable, Amazon SimpleDB)
Experience with agile software development methodologies like Scrum
Experience with efficient and high performance new frameworks or technologies.
