What You Will Be Doing:FitLinxx provides an industry-leading web-based system called Active Gateway that manages data from wireless activity and health devices and transports it to applications built by our partners. FitLinxx partners include some of the world?s leading health, fitness and wellness program providers. These partners have built applications on top of the Active Gateway system that use data from FitLinxx devices to engage people in their health.
The .Net Web Services Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Active Gateway Web Services APIs that are used by our partners' application developers to request and retrieve data from the Active Gateway platform.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Design and development of data transport layers between SOAP Web Services APIs and MS SQL
Development of internal testing and monitoring tools
Application development, including front end ASP.Net development on top of SOAP web service data sources
API documentation writing and maintenance
What You Need:
B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of .Net C# development experience
ASP.Net application development experience
MS SQL query and stored procedure development experience
Background in ASP.Net AJAX a plus
Excellent problem solving and communications skills
Flexibility in solving problems in areas you aren't necessarily acquainted with
Drive and self motivation
