Cytel is the world leader in the design, implementation and software development of adaptive clinical trials.The position is for a Software Engineer in the software development team at Cytel. Cytel?s product development team creates sophisticated life sciences statistical applications. The job involves development of desktop based application products. The candidate is expected to develop user interface for the Cytel?s software projects. The ideal candidate will have between 2 and 5 years of hands on experience in development of user interface in Windows 7 platform. Good communication and a strong technical background are expected. More specifically the job duties are as follow.
Job duties:
? Prepare, read and understand the product specifications and requirements
? Prepare software design according to specifications
? Design and plan unit testing of code
? Interact with statisticians for clarity of specifications, schedules, etc.
Qualifications and Experience
MS Computer Science. With 2 years of experience or BS Computer Science with 5 years of experience
Skills
? Strong hands-on experience in C# and WinForms
? Should be able to work independently
? Fair exposure to C++/VC++ is an advantage
? Experience in VB6 / VBA an advantage
? Should be able to work independently
? Knowledge of AOP, ORM and MVC frameworks on .Net platform is desirable
? Exposure to performance tuning and parallel computing an advantage
? Excellent oral and written communications skills.
