About the Role We are looking for bright engineers just getting their start in the industry to bring their fresh perspective and contribute to one of the worlds-leading software-as-a-service providers. We are looking for a wide variety of skill sets that can contribute the continued advancement and innovation of our web-based application suite. The internship is a 6 month program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Write server-side, client-side, and/or support code for a world-leading SaaS Social Customer Experience company
Work with a team to solve complex problems
Innovate on new approaches and bring your own personal touch to the development team
Required Experience:
Pursuing Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any type) or a related field
0 -1 Years experience in software development
Knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript.
Working knowledge of J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, XML, JDBC, JMS)
Knowledge of Unix, Windows, JVM, web and application servers
Knowledge of Design Patterns
Knowledge of DHTML, CSS, SQL, JSF, Seam, and/or Hibernate a plus
Required Skills
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Strong focus on quality and generating results
Excellent written and oral communications
Energetic and self-starting
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
