Software Engineering Manager Knewton

Knewton is looking for a talented Software Engineering Manager with superior leadership, problem solving and coding skills to lead a team of extremely smart, talented and (ahem) opinionated engineers. We need someone who is going to know when to steer and guide our engineers and know when to get out of their way. Your experience in building high performance, scalable, automatically tested, frequently improving websites will serve as the perfect complement to our team?s capabilities.

We need the following from you:

Experience leading a team of software engineers in an Agile environment
Expert-level hands-on, high-performance, Mission-critical systems development experience
A start-up mentality and work ethic
Demonstrated success in building a large-scale web property
