Software Engineering Manager Acumentrics

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Manage performance of a team of software engineers

Manage projects ranging from embedded controls to windows based data collection and display

Lead and refine software development processes

Collaborate with a variety of teams across the organization

Develop and manage schedules for development tasks

Develop and facilitate presentations for senior management

Contribute to technical developments as required

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated leadership and management skills

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

Be detail oriented and produce accurate and concise documentation

Ability to work independently or in a multifunctional team environment

Effective communication (verbal and written)

High level of communication and written skills

Ability to use MS Office products

Experience with Microsoft .NET development

Experience with embedded real-time systems development



EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors of Science in Engineering with at least 5 years experience; or

7+ years in software engineering

3+ years in a leadership role

Prior experience with UPS or SOFC products is a plus

Understanding of basic chemistry is a plus.
