Using hundreds of autonomous mobile robots and sophisticated control software, the Kiva Mobile-robotic Fulfillment System enables extremely fast cycle times with reduced labor requirements, from receiving to picking to shipping.For our fast growing software engineering teams, Kiva is looking for multiple talented engineers at all levels who are mature, motivated, and enjoy working in a fast paced development organization.
As a Kiva software engineer, you will design, implement and test key components of Kiva's warehouse automation system software and applications, collaborating cross-functionally to define clear requirements, deliverables, and test cases.
Candidates will have the following qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, or other algorithmic-centric discipline
4+ years of experience working in core Java, C++ or other Object Oriented languages
Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings
Strong communication skills and effective team player
Familiarity with fast growing companies and the associated deadlines and high-energy culture that goes along with launching new products
Experience and interest in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
Intelligent agents, path planning, and other related AI topics
Large scale enterprise platforms
Complex algorithms including schedulers, workflows, state machines
Equipment control, coordination and management
