Description
As a software engineer on our team, youll be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation and support of any number of core components of our system. Experience writing highly scalable web services would be great, but most important is strong programming skils with the ability to learn new things fast. We're using Grails as our backend platform, a JVM-based platform with Spring at its core that leverages Groovy and Java.
Responsibilities
Architect, design and develop a highly available and scalable web service
Collaborate with other engineers on code and design reviews
Implement functional and unit tests
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years developing high availability and scalable web services
Experience testing your own code with automated test frameworks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or comparable experience/knowledge of fundamentals
