The Company is actively seeking a qualified self-motivated Software Intern to Work on Software Engineering projects to support product development. QA (Quality Assurance) testing for correct functioning of products as designed.
Generate software programs, test scripts, and test scenarios in response to Engineering specifications for product development and subsequent revision releases. .
Assist in formal product release and qualifications process.
Automate manual processes used to build Quantum3D products.
The selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Create software programs in C/C++, Visual Basic, and scripting languages.
Create and execute test scenarios to ensure that the new products function as intended.
Consults with the engineering team to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software and performance requirements of the system.
Works closely with Hardware Engineering to provide software-level support for diagnostics and debugging tools.
Formulates and crafts software systems using scientific analysis and disciplined engineering principles to evaluate viability of the design.
Provides testing procedures to test the quality of software being produced.
Documents the design of software components.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Must have formal training in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
Must demonstrate technical competence in PC Hardware and Software systems.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
Must have strong organization and communication skills.
Must have the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
Education, Training and Experience:
Junior level working on a Bachelor?s degree or Master?s degree in Computer Science Engineering or Electrical Engineering
