Teradici is seeking an intelligent, creative, technical and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Desktop Solutions team as a Software Product Manager. You will be responsible for managing, defining and delivering Teradici?s software client product portfolio for cloud-delivered desktops and application delivery. The software client portfolio includes desktop and mobile client platforms for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux clients.
As the Software Product Manager, you will be responsible for every phase of the software product lifecycle, including market requirements, positioning and product strategy, competitive analysis, pricing, distribution strategy, managing documentation, release, and delivery. You will work with development, partners, customers and user interface specialists to define and deliver innovative products that bring new life to the client user experience!
Establish and define requirements for both new and existing products, and contribute to the overall vision of the software client portfolio.
Collaborate with numerous stakeholders (most notably customers, sales, and development) in defining the product priorities within the product roadmap, which consists of a balance of new capabilities, enhancements to existing features, and defect fixes.
Understand and characterize customer use cases as they pertain to hosted desktop and management solutions, and work with product development and other product managers to translate these business priorities into clearly communicated product requirements for roadmap and portfolio planning.
Manage enterprise software product portfolio definition, roadmap planning, feature funnel management, go to market strategies and tactics, schedule management, new feature analysis and alignment of product solutions to customer requirements.
Work extensively with cross functional groups from Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales and Support while establishing and maintaining relationships with key enterprise partners and customers.
Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning.
Develop pricing and packaging strategies.
Work closely with the sales team to develop sales tools and training ? both for Teradici and ecosystem partners.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical degree, MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in enterprise software product management
Track record and experience of marketing enterprise-class software
Experience in one or more of the following areas: enterprise software, mobile applications, desktop management tools, desktop virtualization, cloud-based software
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of all aspects of complete product bundles
Experience in complete product life cycle management
Experience in working with Tier 1 enterprise software OEMs and enterprise customers
Strong awareness of technology trends and competitive solutions and ability to translate into potential influence on the Desktop Solutions? business
Ability to work equally well with engineering, product marketing, sales and support to drive successful product releases
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects and deliverables
Strong written skills with the ability to write clearly and quickly, to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Excellent verbal communications skills, public speaking experience and comfort level with speaking to a technical architect or a CIO
Passion for technology and a strong aptitude for business strategy
Availability and willingness to travel on occasion
