Software Product Manager Jawbone

The Software Product Manager is reposible for championing products through successive stages of conception, definition, development, launch and user-engagement. Reporting to the Director of Software Product Management, this individual will spearhead product initiatives and ensure the successful execution of the company's product roadmap.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who simultaneously balances a great appreciation for detail with a higher-level strategic prospective. The individual can confidently synthesize self-performed analyses, engineering viewpoints, customer feedback and market data to recommend optimal decisions for the product.

Responsibilities:

- Product Definition Conceive, vet and socialize new features and product ideas. Develop detailed requirements and share with other teams in the organization.
- Communicate Use Cases Determine and illustrate how users will interact with products, and demonstrate how proposed features will make products relevant and compelling to users. Identify and advocate user needs.
- Guide product throughout lifecycle Work closely with engineering, UI design team, marketing and sales deliver great products into the market. Track post-release performance and customer feedback.
- Develop Business Cases Calculate the strategic and economic value for product initiatives.
- Analyze Competitive Landscape Follow competitive offerings and identify technology trends.
- Support Partner Relationships Interface with partners to develop and maintain collaborative products.

Requirements:

- B.A., B.S. or equivalent degree
- At least 2-3 years product management experience in consumer tech (web, electronics, mobile) ))
- MBA, preferred
