Ember, a leading provider of wireless sensor and control network technologies, is seeking an experienced team player to lead our Software Program Management activities out of our Boston office. This position requires a combination of operational, strategic and technical capabilities.

Job Description
Project management of Embers next generation of embedded software and networking stacks. The position will cover the management of the complete lifecycle of Embers software, from definition to customer delivery. You will be involved in project planning and resourcing, liaising with development partners, monitoring, tracking and reporting progress. Embers software spans from low level driver code on deeply embedded chips without operating systems, to PC based development and analysis tools.

Minimum requirements

- Senior project manager with experience in deeply embedded software development projects. Experience with software for embedded IC development a plus.
- Experience in managing several software development projects across diverse teams including multiple locations.
- Experience working with Department Managers and Marketing on resource allocation and priorities.
- Experience working with external partners for development or integration.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and budget.
- Understanding of the software development and QA process.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience communicating program status to Company Management and driving the product development process.
- BS degree in software engineering or similar.
- Team player
- Self motivating.
