Responsibilities:
Giftango would like to add a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to our team. We are looking for detail oriented, smart, energetic people that can work with our team to create best in class solutions. The ideal candidate for this position is someone that is able to work within a fun and dynamic team environment and has experience building, managing, and maintaining automated test suites.
Contribute to, and execute test implementation, test strategy, test plans and test designs
Research, analyze, and report software defects
Collaborate, define tasks, estimate, and provide direction with internal and external resources
Provide quality assurance evaluation and input through active participation in the design, development, and end user testing of the applications
Implement and maintain test automation suites
Conduct feature testing, regression testing, boundary testing, and performance testing
Provide troubleshooting and support to developers, product teams, and technical support
Work with diverse marketing, operations, and development teams consisting of software architects, developers, customers, and managers, to analyze and solve key feature issues and rollouts.
Provide strategic guidance in relation to Q/A?s role in the SDLC and quality resource management
Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Working experience with test automation tools such as NUnit or MSTest
Working knowledge of C#
3 years? work experience in software testing and quality assurance
Experience with Selenium, WatiN, WatiR or similar QA tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in an iterative, agile development process
Testing experience on multiple platforms and browsers ? (Windows, Mac, IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox)
Working experience with load, performance, and stress testing
Working knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methodologies
Experience with black box and white box testing
Strong Preference to candidates with:
Experience with Microsoft Product Development Life Cycle methodology
Testing experience with web based ecommerce products
Experience working with Microsoft TFS
