Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed, applications throughout the full lifecycle of the software. Works on all Cashedge applications, including new and in production, and including backoffice business solutions and customer facing web pages.
• Writes and maintains test automation. Publishes test results. Implement quality assurance standards. Provide material assistance and statistics that help define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Should be familiar with the SDLC and the role of QA in the software development process.
• Experienced with software QA test methodologies.
• Experienced in writing Database queries.
• Command line knowledge of Unix and Windows.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Work independently with minimum supervision to meet the deadlines.
• Automation experience in at least 1-2 projects is desired.

Qualification Pluses:

• Experience with working in the banking industry (or any financial institution).
• Experience with using any test automation tool.
• Experience with performing and documenting systems analysis
