Software QA Engineer Magnum Semiconductor

Magnum is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software QA Engineer to join our team in Milpitas, CA. Reporting to the Director of Software QA and Systems, you will lead cross functional teams and will be responsible for the design, development and support of current and new features for customer platforms as well as reference systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming for multimedia applications
Develop real-time multithreaded embedded systems and develop core drivers and services for high-performance multimedia hardware


Requirements:

5+ years of applicable experience in software development or quality assurance
BS/MS Computer Science
Programming skills/experiences related with video/audio encoding/decoding/xcoding
Experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python is prefer)
Solid testing ability
Experience leading projects and presenting data
Excellent analysis and design skills
Excellent documentation skills


Considered a plus:

Programming skills/experience on automation framework
Signal processing, including audio/video processing and/or compression, broadcast
Solid real-time embedded firmware and software testing background
