Software QA Manager DriveCam
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage, direct and support the Quality Assurance team
Develop training plan for Quality Assurance team to increase core competencies
Develop and deploy Best Practice Quality Assurance test policies, methodologies and framework
Design, develop, deploy and maintain repeatable manual and/or automated Quality Assurance Test Plans
Review product requirements with Product Owner and Development team
Leads the design reviews for the functional test definitions and plans
Creates and executes test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test
Progressively develop test case scenarios, regression and performance tests, report issues and assist the Development teams with the debug and analysis of failures.
Measure and communicate metrics and reports on the software quality, including test results/status and defect reports
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Must have a solid understanding of testing principles, practices, and reporting procedures
Must have strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret requirements, design and test documents
Ability to use SQL Server 2008 R2 to verify data test results
Ability to use Salesforce or Rally as a status and reporting tool to keep cases current and monitor workflow.
Ability to remain flexible and reassign testing priorities as needed.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues.
4 year Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of experience in software testing in a QA environment
Experience in providing leadership and direction to QA teams in a collaborative environment
Experience in leading test planning, test development, defect tracking and test case/script creation and execution
Working knowledge and experience with SQL and relational databases to verify data test results.
Familiarity with web and Windows based applications.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tolerance of ambiguity
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and completely in a fast paced environment
