Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience performing software testing duties
- A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent education
- Experience writing detailed test plans and test cases
- Experience running test cases and documenting the results for reporting and audit
- Proficiency with test and defect tracking tools; experience with TFS would be an asset
- Exposure to automated software testing tools; ability to automate test cases; experience with Selenium would be an asset
- Experience managing the QA software environment; experience testing .NET applications would be an asset
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of domain names and the DNS system would be a strong asset.
- Independently learn the functionality of the system in order to test it
- Maintain the QA software environment; work with deployment team to deploy application builds and reset the application database
- Write test plans and detailed test cases, get test cases reviewed and apply feedback
- Execute test cases and document outcome
- Automate test cases where appropriate
- Log detailed defects that will allow developers to easily diagnose the issue
- Work with developers to reproduce issues and provide input
- Verify defects once they are fixed
- Run regression tests on release builds
- Actively participate in the Agile process
