Enclarity is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst for our QA team. Working closely with Business Analysts and Software Developers to ensure product quality, the selected candidate will communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to the Quality Assurance Manager
Responsibilities:
? Lead the testing effort on small projects.
? Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to QA Manager.
? Extensive use of SQL to create, retrieve, analyze and manipulate data.
? Assess current software quality practices and recommend improvements.
? Develop and execute complex functional, regression, and performance tests.
? Create test data and test cases.
? Research issues to identify root cause and log defects as needed.
? Analyze functional requirements and technical specifications to create test cases that ensure business requirements are met.
? Work closely with business analyst and developers to ensure product quality.
Position Qualifications:
? 2-5 years experience writing SQL scripts to analyze and verify data.
? 3-5 years experience in testing applications on Windows and/or UNIX platforms.
? Strong analytical and technical skills allowing for quick identification of data and configuration issues.
? Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies and application of those methodologies.
? Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
? Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in order to document issues, discuss causes and solutions in a group setting, and summarize results in concise manner.
? Takes pride in work, exhibiting accuracy and attention to detail.
? Bachelor?s Degree required; a technical degree such as Computer Programming or Mathematics a plus.
? Solid understanding of the UNIX environment and basic commands including editing a plus.
? Automation experiences a plus.
? SOAP experience a plus.
