About the Position
We are seeking for a software quality assurance engineer for medical applications in a regulated environment. This position will be based at our Foster City headquarter (CA), Concord office (MA), or Tokyo office (fluency in Japanese required).
Former US Military IT or CT technician personnel are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Draft and execute test protocols from design/functional specifications throughout the entire development process.
Qualify software on new hardware and OS platforms.
Prepare and maintain test environments.
Document bugs and troubleshoot issues.
Develop, maintain and improve continually regression test documents.
Follow ISO procedures and FDA regulation.
Qualifications:
Knowledge in DICOM (digital imaging and communications in medicine), which involves knowledge about DICOM standard.
Networking: Use of networking commands/tools in troubleshooting issues related to data transfer across a network.
Medical Skills: Knowledge about human anatomy and medical imaging; knowledge of advanced post-processing tools and techniques for CT or MR.
Experience using QTP automation tool.
Expertise with Microsoft Windows operating systems and environment.
Education:
Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
