Job Summary
Quality is an important aspect of Flurry's suite of products, and as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have a significant impact on helping to deliver functional and stable products to millions of application users in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Have a hands on approach to QA processes, test strategies and plans
Assist in creating the project test plans in Tarantula, our on-line test plan management tool
Work closely with cross-functional organizations, project teams to develop/execute test plans and cases to deliver high quality products
Identify, reproduce, and isolate issues found and see issues through closure
Report issues in accordance with Flurry?s bug reporting methods and testing guidelines
Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering
Key Qualifications
3+ years in software quality assurance with web preferably in a start-up environment
Experience with embedded and mobile devices including iOS and Android
Experience with SQL and UNIX command line
Strong communication, written skills, and interpersonal skills (required to establish and maintain inter-departmental relationships)
Comfortable with fast paced schedule driven development
Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge
BS/MS EE/CS or technical degree or relevant experience
