Position Summary:
Knowlagent is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven, hands-on Software Quality Assurance manager with a proven track record for delivering process improvement, team leadership, load testing and automated testing with high quality. You will need to be organized with that ability to juggle multiple issues and managing the QA of multiple versions of Knowlagent software in different environments. You will use your initiative and problem solving skills to work with your team to create and maintain test plans including functional, load, and real world scenarios. You will work as an integral part of an Agile Development Team using SCRUM methodologies to develop and deliver Knowlagent Products. You will be creating and maintaining automated test scripts to perform functional and load testing on the Knowlagent platform as well as setting up and maintaining a lab environment for testing Knowlagent integrations to other third party applications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
? Drive advancement of Quality Assurance practices across the organization
? Mentor your team to advance testing methods
? Lead the effort in automating test cases for smoke testing
? Maintain and enhance existing reporting metrics and deliver to Senior Management on a regular basis
? Proactively learn new technologies to improve the depth of testing
? Provide leadership and management of the delivery of the Quality Teams deliverables
? Manage the execution of the QA tactical plan
Required Experience & Skillset:
? Ability to prioritize work tasks in a fast paced dynamic environment
? Excellent time management, problem solving, and technical skills required
? Ability to demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and to think beyond ?outside of the box"
? A proven track record of managing a distributed team
? Service orientation and ability to work in a team environment
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Self-starter capable of working on projects with little supervision
? Strong understanding of different SDLC and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
Education:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, CIS, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
