DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This is a hands-on position that requires a candidate who is comfortable in a fast paced, focused, agile software engineering environment. Responsibilities will include working with a team of engineers to validate high speed, carrier grade IP and SS7 network based applications for NetNumber's Next Generation Telecommunications Addressing and Numbering products.
REQUIREMENTS:
BSCS/MSCS or 1-3 years equivalent SQA experience qualifying complex IP-based applications (SS7-based applications a plus)
The successful candidate must have:
Knowledge of software quality engineering best practices
UNIX (Solaris) operating system knowledge and experience
Experience with Java and/or scripting languages
An understanding of relational databases (Oracle) and SQL
Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA)
Experience with Selenium a plus
This position requires a self-starter that can function both independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills are a necessity.
