MarketLive is looking for a bright, motivated build and release engineer for the Product Development group. As a Release Engineer you will be directly responsible for the design, development and maintenance of our source code control repositories and build management systems. You will work closely with software engineers, QA, Documentation and IT services team to configure and manage the QA and performance testing environments. The role includes all aspects of development, documentation and maintenance of the build-release process; performing software branching, merge and related functions; it also includes code instrumentation for code coverage.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years experience in build and release engineering of software products
Strong knowledge of source code repository administration (GIT and/or SVN)
Superior experience utilizing software build and configuration tools such as Ant and Maven is a must (strong knowledge of Maven desired)
Superior scripting language skills on Solaris / Linux platform: Bash Shell, Python, and Perl
Unix administration skills (Solaris preferred, Linux accepted)
Relational database administration skills (Oracle preferred)
Expert knowledge of continuous integration tools like Continuum, Jenkins or Cruise Control is a must
Experience with Code coverage tools like ? EMMA, Clover, Cobertura
BSCS or equivalent required
