Duties & ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: Software Release Engineer to expand and maintain continuous build system.
Work cross-functionally to define requirements for the Code Management, Product Build and Release processes.
Define and manage all build/ release deliverables for each of the various products/ platforms.
Architect, document and develop extensions to our automated integration/ build/ test and release process to meet the needs of a growing product line.
Manage release and development branches in our Source Code Management System. Maintain archive of build artifacts.
Maintain and scale build infrastructure on Windows and Mac.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Must have strong experience with one or more scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell)
Must haveexperience with build oriented languages such as Ant, Make and NSIS
Proven experiene with implementation and administration of builld automation tools such as Jenkinds/Hudson, Cruise Control, etc is mandatory
At least 4 years experience in software engineering, and release engineering is mandatory
Demonstrated experience in version control tools, e.g. SVN (preferred), CVS, perforce, etc- mandatory
Working knowledge of both Windowss and Mac development systems - mandatory
Nice to have experience with database, such as mySQL, SQL server and etc
Nice to have web programming experience
Works well with others in fast-paced, iterative product definition and development environment within and across team
