Software Security Researcher Fortify Software

We are looking for strong engineers with a passion for security and improving software. Our focus is moving away from traditional perimeter security solutions, to developing solutions that work inside applications, either finding and fixing vulnerabilities, or protecting against them in new ways. Responsibilities

Expand the security content of Fortify tools by developing new content in existing areas of analysis
Follow trends and developments in the field of software security and assess their significance
Investigate and implement detailed techniques for exploiting software security vulnerabilities
Determine new methods for automatic identification of vulnerabilities in software systems
Compare results against known vulnerabilities in order to shape the future direction of the product
Identify new vulnerabilities by auditing open source projects and customer code using Fortify tools

Qualifications

Entrepreneurial, can-do attitude
BA/BS, MS or PhD in computer science or engineering
Proficient in C/C++ and Java (C#/ASP.NET a plus)
Interest in up-to-the minute details about software security
Source code auditing or penetration testing experience preferred but not required
