Job Description :
The SynQor software team develops applications to support a wide range of business needs from sales and finance to integration with our manufacturing line. We are a relatively small group but have a large imipact in the success of the business. Our software leverages personnel and equipment by automating data collection, improving reporting and analysis, integrating systems, and streamlining processes.
SynQor has a large base of legacy code that is actively in use. The software support engineer will be responsible for maintaining existing applications within SynQor, including bug fixes, improvements, and extensions to those applications. In addition, you will assist in the upgrade and rewrite of these applications, improving algorithms, tuning performance, and building flexibility into the applications to allow them to evolve in step with business requirements.
Job Requirements :
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide Tier-2 support for applications.
Upgrade and extend existing applications.
Write technical documentation for custom applications.
Improve productivity through business process automation.
Required skills include, but are not limited to, the following:
Critical thinking and analysis
Problem solving
Microsoft.NET (VB.NET is a plus)
SQL or PL/SQL
Ability to work independently or as part of a group
Oracle EBS development
