THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are currently recruiting for a Software Support Engineer who is a team player and willing to handle
a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis. In addition to working with great professionals, we offer

Under limited supervision, responsible for post-sales technical support and quality assurance on Rogue
Wave Software (RWS) products, installation and use. Provides backup to pre-sales technical support.
? Provide technical support to RWS current customers, prospects, field personnel, and internally.
? Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all communications with customers.
? Provide technical support to the sales organizational unit and selective marketing promotional
? Stay current with RWS?s product line and changes in technology.
? Perform QA role, including execution for all product release cycles.
? Work with Product Development Management to suggest improvements, changes, etc. to RWS
product and procedures.

Work Experience and Education:
BS in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science or Associate Degree with equivalent experience
may be substituted for BS. 1 ? 2 plus years in technical support, software development, or technical
consulting. Previous work experience using C, C++ and/or FORTRAN computer languages and
graphics software experience desirable. Solid understanding of compilers, assemblers, and debugging
environments. Training/experience in UNIX, Windows, Linux and/or HPC environments (Cray, IBM
Blue Gene, SGI, etc.) required. Mac OS X experience a plus.
