Our company is seeking a talented and experienced Software Support Engineer to join our Technical Support team in Redmond, Washington. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to understand and diagnose complex technical issues, and to work cooperatively in a team-based customer support environment. Noetix software works with diverse core technologies, including Oracle, Microsoft web services, and Siebel to name a few.
Core Deliverables and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians and customers.
Creates workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed.
Identifies, prioritizes, replicates, diagnoses and resolves user problems in a timely fashion.
Exceptional technical aptitude with a desire to learn varied technologies
Excellent oral and written communicator capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Candidate must have at least 1 -2 years working experience or related college project experience in SQL coding
2 years working experience in Microsoft: Windows Server administration, SQL Server administration, IIS, .NET Framework, web services, reporting tools is preferred
2 - 3 years working experience in Oracle: Oracle E-Business Suite, database administration, Oracle Discoverer is preferred
2 -5 years working experience in providing technical customer support services to diverse populations is preferred
Education / Training / Certification:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and/or equivalent work experience is preferred.
