Responsibilities: - Creates and executes primarily automated tests. Manual testing may be required from time to time.
- Enter and track defects in bug tracking system.
- Strive to improve the usability of the products by working closely with developers and providing feedback.
- Help peers pick up automation practices.
- Work with team to define and plan the tests required for each iteration
Qualifications:
- Technically focused bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and related networking protocol.
- Testing of GUI applications, Java and/or Web.
- Well versed in one or more scripting language (Shell, Perl, Python, javascript, etc).
- Experience with Linux and/or Unix.
- Experience with home-grown or commercial automation tools.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases.
