Responsibilities will include:Scripting of test code to verify the functionality of Astute's high performance flash based storage system.
Building automated test infrastructure using Tcl/Expect, Bash.
Using open-iscsi or Microsoft iSCSI initiators for storage testing.
System performance testing and analysis with multiple managers/machines to drive network traffic.
Running manual regression/functional tests on new software releases.
Review and analysis of logs and test results from units under test.
Troubleshooting of test server and network infrastructure issues.
Qualifications:
Excellent work ethic, dependable, flexible, and agile.
BS/MS in CS, EE, or related area.
2+ years experience in software testing.
Knowledge of networking and storage protocols is highly desirable: Ethernet, TCP/IP, iSCSI, SCSI.
Familiary with C or C++ coding.
Familiarity with code management systems such as CVS, automated build tools such as gmake, and bug tracking systems.
Knowledge of VMware ESX and the ability to configure Vsphere clients, vCenter Server and datastores is desirable.
Good oral and written communication skills.
