POSITION: Software Test Engineer
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
The Software Test Engineer is responsible for testing cutting edge software products for investment professionals that enable them to transform the precision and efficiency of their back office operations including, trading, CRM and reporting and ensure our products achieve the highest quality in terms of reliability, security, performance, stability, scalability, availability and accuracy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the team you will be involved in all aspects of testing. The role includes reviewing specifications, writing structured test plans, implementing test cases/test suites and working to define features and product customizations. You will also be involved in bug and issue tracking and will be interacting regularly with your peers in Testing, Program Management and Development.
REQUIREMENTS
?Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field.
?Minimum 5 years of software testing experience.
?Experience testing in a web hosted environment.
?Solid grasp of Client/Server fundamentals and Browser/Server interaction and IIS.
?A good working knowledge of XML, HTTP protocols, Web Services, and SQL Server.
?Proficient in SQL
?Demonstrated ability to successfully complete challenging software testing projects
?Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find the route cause with detailed and accurate descriptions
?Financial industry experience a bonus
