Software Test Technicians will manually test software within the Agile Scrum environment. They will try to recreate bugs, follow test cases for new features, write test cases, and test new and existing features. The software test technician will work closely with a small team of designers, testers, and developers within an agile scrum environment, and be responsible for the quality of their team's features.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree
Or at least 1 year in a full-time quality assurance position testing web-based applications
2 years in a full-time Computer Science Program
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leverages strong domain knowledge to provide comprehensive manual test coverage
Great at finding defects that if missed would have had consequential user impact
Rarely misses defects while testing software
Ability to work with minimal supervision

Works beyond the minimal requirements of assignments
Creates a fun and safe environment for team members
If a project is handed to him or her, she or he sees the project all the way through to completion

Recalls and appropriately uses a mass of learned skills and data about the world
SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY:
Is responsible for the quality of testing and ?QA sign off? for assigned project.
Physical Demands
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard.
Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
