Instead, we purchase solar facilities for our homeowners and sell them electricity at a lower cost than the utilities. About the Role:
As a solar scheduling professional, you will join a high-performing, fast-paced scheduling team. Our team rewards performance and constantly strives for improvement. You will be responsible for contacting or following up on prospective Sunrun customers and securing an appointment for a solar consultation. This role includes administrative tasks but the primary role is scheduling solar consultations from leads generated in our retail locations.
Schedule solar consultations over the phone and use calendar applications (Outlook or Google Calendar) to document the appointment.
Following through with previous scheduling attempts
Explain Sunrun?s solar power service to homeowners via telephone or email
Determine the solar potential of homes using Google Earth and Maps
Address customer concerns and gain their commitment
Achieve demanding monthly scheduling targets
Track progress in Microsoft Excel
Available between 1pm and 7pm weekdays, and 12pm to 6pm on weekends.
Part-time; about 28 hours per week
1-2 years of customer service experience
Sets challenging goals and drives to successful completion
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to understand and explain a solar product
Demonstrated passion for customer service
High impact communication skills over telephone
Excellent in multi-tasking
Dependable and self-disciplined
