Solutions Architect is responsible for pre-sales and proof-of-concept (POC) implementation of Caradigm's Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution. This individual will be on the forefront of Caradigm's initiatives that deliver business value to healthcare customers in the US. This role requires deep industry knowledge, a solid understanding of a wide range of solution and partner offerings, the ability to call on senior business and IT executives in major health organizations and a proven track record in successfully supporting and driving complex sales in large enterprise accounts. Significant travel is required and must have excellent customer interaction skills and pre-sales experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Effectively team with the sales executives in order to win business
? Work as a member of sales team and technical support team articulating the technical messages and supporting proof-of-concepts
? Work as a member of sales team and technical support team helping translate new features and capabilities into appropriate sales messages
? Work with channel and technology partners supporting them with Caradigm IAM product training and assisting with product demonstrations
? Work with the Services team providing accurate pre-sales configurations and technical scrutiny useful in the implementation process
? Liaison between sales and product management to create ?vision? demonstrations that align with intended future product deliverables
? Work with the product engineering team providing input and insight on customer trends
? Implement components using Caradigm IAM toolkit and scripting (VBScript/Jscript) as appropriate
? In addition to customer-facing responsibilities, the candidate will also need to spend time focused on improving our internal capabilities, which means providing feedback and interfacing with the product groups on custom customer needs and specifications, and growing the level of expertise within the company
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
? BS or Engineering degree or equivalent experience is necessary
? 5+ years of product specialist, install consultant, pre-sales consultant, sales engineer or equivalent experience in healthcare area
? Must possess excellent interpersonal style as well as superior written and oral communication skills
? Experience demonstrating and presenting (or training) software applications and products to clients and prospective clients
? Demonstrated experiences with analytical and methodical troubleshooting expertise
? Knowledge of the business drivers for enterprise accounts; excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
? Demonstrated ability to work directly with technical partners
? Demonstrated ability to work with customers in a consulting role
? Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies
? Project management skills are preferred
? Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment
? Scripting experience (VBScript, JavaScript, Jscript, WSH) or familiarity with SSO, CCOW, SAML or other standards is a plus
? Flexibility to travel (up to 70%) and work with remote teams, international teams and offshore developers
